Concierge Support Services strives to ensure that each and every one of our students, families, and patients feel welcome and cared for during their time in the United States.
Our Story
Founded in 1990 by Joan Alfond and Tammy Kumin, Boston Concierge Support Services has revolutionized the educational experience of international and out-of-state students.
Between Joan and Tammy, they are parents of six children who all attended New England prep schools. That experience gave them a first-hand look at the difficulties parents find themselves in when children are attending schools so far from home and family. Whether it be attending sports games, doctor visits, college preparation, or much needed school shopping, they recognized the need for these students to have a “mom away from home”.
Joan (now retired) and Tammy have cultivated Concierge Support Services (CSS) into a company that is recognized for providing exceptional professional services while embodying the heart of the company – family.
Cultivating Relationships & Understanding Expectations
CSS prides itself in not only having fully developed relationships with representatives in the admissions offices of numerous schools but also truly understanding the culture, expectations, and requirements of those schools.
CSS students represent over 40 countries
Over the last 30 years Concierge Support Services students have represented over 40 countries
